Constantino Lagoa, PhD

Dr. Lagoa's areas of research include: Control and Decision Systems; Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. His areas of interest are: Application of probability to robustness analysis and control, robustness analysis and control of nonlinear systems and discrete event dynamical systems, traffic control in computer networks. When asked why he wanted to be involved with the Roybal Center: "I have joined the Roybal Center to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to advancing innovative, personalized interventions that promote healthier lives. This collaborative environment provides a unique opportunity to translate and further enhance some of our previous work on control engineering based interventions to develop real-word solutions that empower individuals to thrive both physically and mentally."
